Where It All Began

In Minneapolis, MN, in 1991, STS Staffing & Temporary Services began its journey. One of our founders witnessed a local company’s struggles with its staffing provider and the opportunity to provide a higher level of service. This innovative, problem-solving mindset and commitment to rapid response continues today and has been essential to our ongoing success for more than 30 years. What began as a small local staffing agency with a single office in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul has grown into a nationwide staffing company offering staffing solutions and job opportunities across the country through select regional office locations.

Still Growing Strong

As we expanded our reach, we recognized the growing demand for direct hire recruiting and temporary staffing services in a variety of industries. STS now offers temporary and contract staffing, temporary-to-hire staffing, direct hire recruiting and payrolling services to employers. Our primary focus industries are seasonal/retail, manufacturing, warehouse, customer service, healthcare, administrative and transportation, but with more than three decades in the staffing business, we’ve had the opportunity to assist clients and candidates in virtually every vertical.

1993

STS Staffing expands into the Illinois market with branch office locations in suburban Chicago and Peoria.

2003

Starting in 2003, STS Staffing appeared in consecutive annual rankings as one of the Top 25 Temporary Employment firms in Minnesota and Nevada.

2006

STS establishes a branch office in the city of Reno, Nevada early in the year, after working on a large client project in the area. Another Nevada branch office location was established late in the year in the city of Las Vegas.

2009

STS Staffing is named one of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Staffing Companies in the US by Staffing Industry Analysts with a 36.2% compounded annual growth rate over the previous 4 year period.

2010

STS Staffing is named one of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Staffing Companies in the US by Staffing Industry Analysts.

2014

STS Staffing launches a Regional and National staffing initiative out of its Las Vegas branch office location, expanding services to meet specific client needs, primarily in Florida and California, but expanding to many other major cities as well.
